Financial Controller

Agritibi is looking for a Financial Controller to join our team part-time (2 days / 16 hours per week).

This is an on-site position at our offices.

The Role

You will be the go-to person for advanced accounting and month-end closing. You will work closely with our accounting technician and management.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the accounting technician with complex and unusual transactions
• Perform all month-end closing tasks (monthly reconciliations)
• Prepare, analyze, and adjust monthly receivables
• Prepare and document monthly tax reports
• Prepare the year-end file for the external accountant
• Participate in improving internal accounting and administrative processes
• Prepare monthly financial statements for management
• Review the work of the accounting technician
• Provide occasional support to other departments with their administrative tasks
• Perform various bank reconciliations

Desired Profile

• 5+ years of accounting experience (full cycle)
• DEC or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Excellent proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Rigorous, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong summarization skills
• Autonomous with an impeccable work ethic
• Excellent accounting reflexes and good speed

Conditions

• $35/hour starting salary (adjusted based on experience)
• Part-time: 16 hours/week

Agricultural Mechanic

Agritibi R.H. is looking for an agricultural mechanic to complete our dynamic team! Responsibilities: Maintenance and repair of our equipment, thorough inspection, documentation and writing of reports, assembly and disassembly of components, preventive maintenance, monitoring of the latest innovations in mechanics.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 40 hours per week.

Requirements: Solid knowledge of mechanics, reading and interpretation of technical manuals and diagrams, excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, good physical condition and ability to lift heavy loads.

We offer: a salary based on experience between $22 and $40/h, attractive benefits.
